Gerard Curtis Delano

This fine watercolor of one of the most famous American painters will be on the open market in Dallas, Texas, this month.

Delano was born in Marion, Massachusetts. He served in the US Navy in the First World War, He worked on a ranch in Colorado, before moving to New York to study art. One of Delano's mentors was N.C. Wyeth. For many years he lived and painted in Denver, Colorado and Summit County, Colorado.
